"I enjoy visiting museums tucked away out of normal areas. These unique places offer a one on one experience. My experience today was that interaction I had with the staff. They offered knowledge with personal touch. The building is tucked inside an industrial area with the Native mound at its front door. Not a large place but had a lot of information. The love of past of north Alabamas native culture to pass along. Stop in for a short informative walk in time past."
Kevin Bridges
"This was an interesting place to see. They have the mound outside and then a small museum inside which is pretty cool. They also have a video that you can see in the museum that explains the mound and the area around it. It does have parking, bathrooms and the building to me was interesting also. You can hike up the mound by some steps, but I decided that was probably not a good idea."

"The building was closed, but it was still very interesting. Able to see a lot of things still outside as far as the hill.( MOUND ) and a very interesting garden."
