What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the scenic boardwalk and the incredible opportunity to observe wildlife like alligators and bobcats in their natural habitat. The observation tower offers a great elevated perspective, and the low entrance fee makes it an excellent value. Some note the tower's view isn't fully 360 degrees, and it's essential to bring water due to humidity.
"Loved this! Spent a great day on a kayak, a boat tour, and a walk to the house and boardwalk. The walk out on the boardwalk is scenic, with a couple gator friends added in."
Lee Spoor
"Nice walk. 3/4 mile out and 3/4 mile back. Plenty to see. I was able to see a raccoon, lizards and a bobcat and her baby. The tower at the end of the boardwalk was easy to get to the top. There were several viewing devices that were free to use. There is a $5 fee to enter the wildlife area but it is minimal for how much area it covers."
Josh
"One of the nicest walks I've taken in a long time. The tower does not have a 360° view. It might 180°, but I certainly prefer the shade camouflaging the 40 foot structure. I'd come back in other seasons too. Played some Flute for the tourists. Were you there? Follow me to find me out on America's Byways, forests, and swamps."
