What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Jaycee Park for its newly renovated, inclusive playground with separate areas for toddlers and older kids, as well as its convenient beach access and sports facilities. However, the lack of shade on the playground is a significant drawback during hot weather, and restroom availability can sometimes be an issue.
"11/8/24: My little man really enjoy playing at this playground.
Highlights:
1. Beautiful lake view
2. Large pavilions with multiple picnic tables
3. Fenced in playgrounds with toddler playground sectioned off on one side and the bigger side for kids ages 5-12
4. Smooth Zipline
5. Restroom buildings are nearby, close enough to keep an eye on kids of multiple ages playing and going to the restroom at the same time
6. Playground structure has been renovated and new since I think in 2023
7. Clean playground
8. Volleyball, tennis court, basketball court nearby"

"We really like this park for the little ones and the beach is a few steps away. They have an area for little ones and another separated area for bigger kids which is nice. The bigger kids side is still pretty safe for little ones. There is a restroom close by, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. There is a lot of shaded picnic tables by the beach, or there is always the option of sitting under the palm trees. I gave it 4 starts instead of five, because the kids playground is not shaded and it’s super hot. If you visit during the Summer, I would recommend doing the park no later than 10am."
