"I went for the first time to visit St Lucie Regional History Center and I loved it ! The staff greeted me warmly and started me off by giving me an initial history about the first settlers here in Fort Pierce , Fl. Then I was left to explore on my own . A lot of reading next to all the artifacts and old photos . I love History! and this visit provided me with History of Native Americans who lived here first , and the Spaniards who came looking for Gold . It’s a small Museum but I recommend a visit if you are ever in Fort Pierce , Florida ."
