"Great state park, especially for dog owners. There’s a multitude of trails, some through the woods and some through wide open fields. They are well maintained and well marked for the most part. Almost everyone you see will have a dog, and if you make it to Eagle Pond there’s an unofficial dog park with lots of pups running around off leash. It does seem to get pretty crowded along the main trails, but if you veer off you’ll find yourself alone in nature. Well, besides the occasional house or farm!"
