Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Culler Lake for its beautiful scenery, accessible walking paths, and family-friendly atmosphere. It's a beloved spot for relaxing, feeding ducks, and enjoying the outdoors. Some minor concerns include occasional duck waste on paths and limited parking during busy periods.

"Beautiful lake with a nice trail around it. Plenty of trees for those hot days and it's right next to baskets park. Needs some cleanup as now it looks like they are fixing up the ball field. But it's still a good place to relax and feed some ducks. Even have wheelchair access but with limited parking."

"Great little lake that is well taken care of by the city. I think they drained it 3-4 years ago and did some major work on it. There is a great walking path around the lake with plenty of well maintained park benches. Lot’s of ducks call the pond home which is fun and enjoyable to watch. However, there can be quite a bit of duck poo on the sidewalk....so watch out for that. The pond is also full of fish. Mostly Bluegill but there are also a few small Largemouth Bass and plenty of Goldfish/Koi."

david folkerts

"Great walking spot near downtown Frederick. Walking trail crosses several streets but traffic is light and there are signals with crosswalks. The park has a playground, picnic area, basketball courts, entertainment stage, bocce ball, and of course Culler Lake."
