"This place was absolutely incredible! Walking through buildings that have stood for so many years was like stepping back in time. What made it even more special was hearing the stories directly from family members and even a few people who had actually lived in those homes. Every detail—from the way the houses were built to the tools used in construction—was fascinating. The craftsmanship and ingenuity on display were just mind-blowing. The wagons were another highlight; seeing the old technology, like leaf springs, still in use today really connected the past to the present. Overall, such an amazing and unforgettable experience—I highly recommend it!"

"Learn all about how German immigrants founded Fredericksburg. Very interesting with many of the original structures still standing. Lots of artifacts and historical objects. Loved the school house. Lots of walking outdoors between buildings. Not all buildings have air conditioning. On site bathrooms were clean. Museum store had so many cute items and souvenirs. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable."
