Reviews Summary
Big Splash Adventure is generally seen as a fun and good-value indoor water park, especially for families. Visitors appreciate the extended park access on check-in and check-out days, the friendly staff, and the included breakfast. Some minor drawbacks include potential inconsistencies with slide height checks and occasional comments about carpet cleanliness or bed comfort.
"The water park is a little small but still very fun! We loved the complimentary breakfast. The hotel and water park were very clean. Great staff! We also enjoyed the food at the cafe by the water park. The arcade is fun too! Definitely good value, and we enjoyed being near the other resorts in the area too."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at Big Splash Adventure. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, they will do whatever they can to help you feel comfortable. The water park was great and lots of lifeguards doing their best to keep you and your family safe. Over all the place was fairly clean. In today's enconomy I feel like they are doing what they can to keep things looking nice and running smoothly. It's such a fun area to go with lots of things to do. It was the perfect little get away for a few days. The breakfast was good, loved the family atmosphere and how they seat you at a table and all. My only complaint is I wish they had another option for breakfast like waffles or pancakes. My kids don't eat biscuits and gravy so that would be nice to have 1 other option. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back."

"First, the bad which is really the primary reason for the two star downgrade. I would say the hallway carpet and the room carpet need a serious deep cleaning or they really should just be replaced at this point. I also found two pieces of hair on one of the queen beds that was definitely not ours. Bed comfort overall was terrible, especially the pillows.
I would say the waterpark actually exceeded expectations, which I had set appropriately based on the prior reviews. Overall, it was a great value for what we got traveling on fall break. For under $200, we got to use the waterpark for the night of our stay as well as the following day until 9 PM, the free breakfast buffet was solid with plenty of high-quality protein choices, and we even got a bonus of a free car ride through the Wilstem Halloween lights by paying close attention to the website and knowing what to ask for at check-in, which was a $39 value.
Our kids had a blast and want to come back.
I think it would be better if the hotel just checked anybody obviously under 4 feet at check-in and gave them a special wristband if they were good to go for being 46” without a lifejacket. Or have the lifeguards give out a special wristband after measuring a kid. We had an issue with my son who is just a hair above 46 inches. Some of the measuring sticks clearly showed he was tall enough, and he was measured by a lifeguard at the activity pool who said he was good to go. But the lifeguard at the top of the slides didn’t believe it, and when she used the measuring stick up there, it indicated he was not tall enough. Very frustrating. She would not let him go by himself and also require him to wear a life jacket as if he were under 46”."
