"Best hike in a long time! This area is beautiful! Do yourself a favor and do the entire trail if you can. We saw many marmots and a large fox running around the end of the trail. Parking fills up quickly, so go early or after 1:00 PM."
Vanessa Creech
"Easy hike with some old buildings up to the main ghost town, which has one full intact building and one with no roof. Keep following the trail till you get to the slough for the mine. You can also go up a different way to get some nice views over the valley. Bring oxygen cans and food with sugar for the altitude if you're not used to heights. Some other offshoot trails can be taken."
Elijah Berry
"This trail is wooded but follows along a stream and open meadow. At the end, you enter into an outstanding alpine meadow bursting with wild flowers and old mining cabins. Our 4 kids, 13-7years, easily hiked this and enjoyed playing in the meadow stream."
