Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find Fox Hollow Trail to be a peaceful and well-marked forest walk with interesting historical elements like the Fox family cemetery and old rock piles. While it's praised for its tranquility and suitability for a relaxed pace, some reviewers note the lack of significant scenic overlooks, suggesting the nearby visitor center offers better views. The terrain can be a bit challenging for very young children due to rocks and roots.

"I hiked this trail and really enjoyed it. It’s well-marked, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The path is peaceful and perfect for going at your own pace, whether you’re walking or getting some exercise. The views are lovely and it’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy fresh air. Highly recommend!"

"I didn't like that trail. It has absolutely no view, it's fully inside the forest. There are lots of rocks and tree roots on the path so you have to be careful where you go. There are no signs, marking is minimal (paint on tree) so if it wasn't for the phone's GPS I would have taken the wrong turn. Pass."

Philippe

"Don’t fall for the images shown in the google reviews — those views are from the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center, not from this trail. The hike itself has no rewarding views or scenic overlooks. The only notable thing you’ll find is the Fox Family cemetery. If you’re looking for beautiful vistas or photo-worthy spots, this is not the trail for you."
