I've heard from others who expressed similar dissatisfaction with the operations of the grounds keeping, but other than her mention of not being notified in advance to those changes, I'd like management of PHC to share with us what led to their actions. Perhaps unsightly displays by some families that "took away from the dignity" of such reverenced sacred grounds.
Our family has lost two well loved family members that are buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, a young man who suffered from a tragic train encounter and my previous wife who died from cancer. I will share her plot when I pass and another plot for a daughter and her husband. I have no complaints about the honor and respect our family was provided at such a grievous time in our lives."

"This is a non-profit organization, confirmed by staff working at this facility. However, they only work with one monument company without charging additional maintenance fees. - makes sense at first.
This monument company not only charges the maintenance fees, but also additional money that they get to pocket. I have quotes from a few places, and Hartman is quoting $500-600 additional.
This organization is making awful decisions for the community that wishes to bury their dead here. It is all a money gambit!
