Depot park is our favorite spot in Duvall! We took a family day last week to visit the park with some ice cream from @ccs.espresso.icecreamery We walk the trails every week and love being on the lookout for cows, ducks, and even saw a bald eagle recently! Reviews Summary

Depot Park is a highly-rated gem in Gainesville, praised for its fantastic playground, engaging splash pad, and scenic pond. Families especially love the ample space, shade, and opportunities for wildlife spotting. While some note food restrictions in play areas and potential parking challenges during events, the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive, making it a must-visit destination.

"The splash pad is inside the playground area and they are literally connected to each other. So if you are bringing your child to the playground and you did not want them to get wet at the splash pad, just know that they could walk right into the splash pad. The splash pad itself is nice it's not huge so you're not going to get soaked. It's perfect for toddlers I would say sitting age 6mo? To about 5? I'm sure older kids would also like it but I can see them getting bored quicker the playground itself is huge and very nice! My daughters absolutely loved it. There was a sand area, plenty of seating and shade, super nice facilities, a walking path around it, overall I really loved this playground! I tried to take a few photos but wanted to be respectful of everybody in the playground and around the splash pad. One thing I did not realize (it's posted on the gate when you enter but I was distracted while getting my kids through) you cannot bring food in! We did, and a worker came up and told us we had to take it out lol oops! What do you do when you have a crazy toddler and baby bc I completely missed the signs even though they are posted on every entrance!"

"This is truly one of the coolest parks we’ve ever been to! I stopped here while traveling and would love to visit again! It’s like 3 parks in one with PLENTY of space for all the children. There is a splash area, sandpit, swings, tunnels, slides, and so much more! The entire park plus playground are super clean and well-maintained. We also loved how nice the restrooms were."

"We love this addition to Gainesville's parks. So fun! Lots of features for kids of various ages and abilities. Lots of shade is a plus. The splash pad is super fun! Lots of swings, some sand to dig in, nice paths to walk on, and keep a look out for gators in the water. All around great spot that I couldn't recommend more."
