"It was clean, and some areas had blue water. Found shells and coral. Little crabs. Just fun. We stayed at the Mariner Inn. $70 w/ tax online. It is comfortable and clean. Comfy beds, too. The pool was exceptionally clean. The lady at the front desk was sweet and accommodating. Little muffin and Folgers coffee. My sister and I stayed, and it felt safe. Seawall just a walk across the road. Ride the Ferry, it's amazing. We even saw some dolphins.Ride the trolley, and it cost $1.00. Every time you get on it. The Mariner Inn had maps of the seawall. Like the one you'll get at an amusement park. Saltgrass ,Wendys, and Ihop are good places to eat. Did yall know 3 hotels on the seawall have swim up bars? Double tree, and I can't remember the other 2 hotels' names. Look it up. Wear swim shoes. The cheapest will be at 5 below $5.99. It's by the Dollar Tree and Ross. Shopping here, it's really picked through, but fun! We had an amazing 3 days and 2 nights."

"I recently took a trip from Houston to the Galveston Seawall, and it was such a great way to unwind! We arrived just in time for sunset and spent about an hour there—watching the sky light up with those gorgeous colors over the water was absolutely beautiful.
There’s plenty of street-side paid parking, so finding a spot wasn’t a hassle. The beach stretches for miles, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll or just soaking in the views.
If you’re looking for a laid-back evening by the coast, I’d definitely recommend swinging by!"
