What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Geneva-on-the-Lake Golf Course for its fun, character-filled layout and exceptionally friendly staff, particularly Christina at the 19th Hole. While the course conditions are generally fair, some reviewers note occasional wear and tear on greens and potential for slower play on weekends. Despite minor drawbacks, the overall experience is highly positive, making it a recommended spot for a casual round.
"Price, product, and service were amazing. The course was like an 75/100. This area only has so many public courses and this one had character and nice greens, a little worn and fairways were a little high but very fun course. The pace was pretty poor but that could just be weekend golf anymore. Had a bunch of fun especially the par 4 with the pond right in the middle 7 iron 180 then an 8 iron 165...made me feel like a pro, though they might have driven over it 🫨. Read the numbers out there!!!!"

"The young lady in the shop was helpful and friendly.
The course was in fair shape. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The greens for the most part were good, but a few had dead spots and were bumpy.
Mtce was going on at the 1st and 18th holes with the 17th hole being totally closed. This took away from the golf experience
The course is only about 1/3 of a mile from Lake Erie, but you do not see it from any where on the course.
I’d like to play the course again after the mtce noted is completed."

"Absolutely fantastic experience at Geneva-on-the-Lake Golf Course! The course itself was in great shape — fairways were clean, greens rolled true, and the views didn’t hurt either. But what really made the day unforgettable was the staff.
Christina, the bartender, is a legend. She’s friendly, hilarious, and somehow remembered everyone’s name and drink like she’s running a Cheers reboot. She kept the vibes high and the drinks flowing like a true pro.
The cart girls were just as awesome — super friendly, always around when you needed them, and clearly knew how to keep a thirsty foursome happy. Service all around was top-tier.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Great golf, even better people. Already planning my next round."
