What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jim Hogg Park is praised for its spacious, amenity-rich campsites and excellent lake access for boating and water sports. Visitors enjoy the abundant wildlife, particularly deer, and the scenic trails. However, some guests have noted issues with bathroom privacy and the availability of soap.
"We had a really great experience here! Our site was really nice & spacious. Our kids had lots of fun swimming, the water does get deep quick so be sure to have life jackets if needed. The only thing we had complaints about was the bathroom. There was a huge lack of privacy for getting dressed/drying off after the shower. We also noticed there was no soap to wash your hands in either restroom we went in. Overall we had a great time."
Sam
"Beautiful park. Bathrooms are well kept. The campsite is more active then I had expected. It is great for families."
William Ferguson
"I like this park mainly because it is close to the place where I live, so it only takes about 49 mins to get to from Round Rock/ Cedar Park area. It has access to water which is great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Most sites are pretty big and have water and electricity. Kids love camping here and we always enjoy the night sky. I'm deducting a star for not the cleanest restrooms. Highly recommend this site for camping near the town."
