"I enjoyed my time spent here so much that I stayed the whole day.this courthouse is a monstrous monument of architectural beauty.the grounds were very well kept and provided plenty of space for lovers, families, friends and kids to pull out a chair or lay down a blanket and just enjoy the moment.there are park benches on every corner pointing outwards towards the boutiques and shops that create the downtown area. there are marble statues as well as some made of bronze with plaques all around to give you there history including that of the courthouse.while sitting there enjoying my day I was granted the privilege of hearing two different musicians street performers play a genre of different songs.there was a father playing catch with his son, mother's holding on to there new borns hands, while they directed them in taking there first few steps then when nightfall came a young debutante celebrated her sweet 16 with friends.while others frequented the establishments all around.there was plenty of shade for everyone and I can't wait to experience Georgetown in a whole new light next go around"

"A day before visiting this courthouse in Georgetown, I saw the Hays County Courthouse in San Marcos. Both courthouses are similar in their Beaux Arts design with a copper dome in the center of the roof with a statue of Lady Justice on top. The Williamson County Courthouse, however, was completed in 1911 and has distinctly different appearances on the side entrances.... 4 columns like the front entrance. There are also 4 clocks... on each side of the dome. This is a wonderful addition to my tour of Texas courthouses. The town square is pretty lively with people."
