"Really interesting and intriguing. Hard to believe the events that took place there! Beautiful scenery too! Well kept! SO MANY BUTTERFLIES WHEN I WENT, in July! That was awesome! The monuments you can go into are breathtaking! Really neat that you can actually walk up to them and some you can even venture I to! Clean areas. The knowledge was unfathomable if the events that took place there! Everything from that era was well preserved and taken care of respectfully! Very nice. I enjoyed the room with the dome and compass above, with the full room painting! That was amazing and how they blended the painting with actual items lying around was so realistic looking. It was baffling! How they were able to do such a good job making it look almost 3D! Even though the events that took place there happened, there was a sense of Peace, the butterflies prove that."

"Coming here was on our bucket list. There are many museums you can visit but this one was the main one we wanted to see. We really enjoyed seeing everything inside. The pictures don’t do it justice but I hope you enjoy. Maybe someday you can come here yourselves."

"Parking at the visitor center was easy and that's were we recommend you start when visiting.
The visitor center is very nice with some great displays, movies, bus your, driving tours, rest rooms and even have a cafe to grab a bite.
We did a driving tour using the NPS app which was really very nice to explain and bring the battle and people to life as you look at the fields or hills

FYI the budget cuts are not affecting this park. There were plenty of rangers and volunteers to make your visit enjoyable. In talking to the rangers they were all very happy since most of the cuts got rid a dead weight or managers that never talked to the public or helped your experience be better.
Let the parks know you like having less overhead and more people making your visit better."
