What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gig Harbor Gondola tours are overwhelmingly praised for their unique, romantic, and personalized experience. Visitors rave about the knowledgeable and talented gondoliers who share local history and provide beautiful serenades. The serene, non-motorized journey offers a peaceful way to enjoy the harbor's beauty. Some minor dislikes include the potential for variable weather and the need to book in advance.
"Gig Harbor Gondola should be a bucket list item for anyone who loves the Northwest! We've lived in Kingston for 28 years - just an hour from Gig Harbor but never taken the time to visit. My husband and I decided to celebrated my birthday and the gondola boat tour intrigued me. It was the perfect opportunity to experience what we love, nature, water, beauty, history, architecture, and all without a "touristy" feel. Greg was our gondolier and was genuine and friendly as he related the interesting fun facts, a perfect mix of guided tour and quite space, and three beautiful serenades. My husband used to sail and I used to row so this was a wonderful way to be on the water again without the distracting sounds of a motor, and under someone else's arm and body power! Greg clearly has perfected his skills and loves his work, and it shows. We will definitely bring future guests for this tour and will now spend more time in Gig Harbor and its charms as it feels familiar and friendly."

"Unique, fun experience! My cousins and I went on a 90 minute morning gondola ride. We brought mimosas and simple snacks. Greg was welcoming and helpful and the entire process was easy. He had a beautiful voice and it was interesting to learn about the history and we slowly toured the harbor. The weather was partly cloudy which was great because when the sun came out it was hot. I would definitely do it again!"

"We did not know of Gig Harbor Gondola until our son & daughter-in-law gifted it to us for Christmas. What a wonderful experience. As our Gondeolier, Chris shared some fascinating local history and mood setting Italian Acapella. Directing us under 2 gangways added a little Vanetian flair."
