"What an incredible oasis in the middle of a largely desert region! The shady trees and water bodies make it a great hiking area even during the summer. Short easy hikes and you can make them into longer trails according to the route you plan out. We went during peak summer so some of the ponds were dry, but still there’s a lot of water birds and other wildlife for bird watchers and nature lovers. We happened to go on a cloudy day and really enjoyed the place. There are benches to sit on and contemplate the view. All for free!"

"Great park for walking. Unfortunately a lot of the ponds are currently dry. The paths are well maintained and clean. There are a few homeless that made me a bit uncomfortable but generally I felt safe. There are so many ducks and birds it is amazing. The community around the park is very nice. I go here to walk or run the trails and very much enjoy it."
