"I love Piper mountain when I can get up there when it's not crowded! It is a very long Summit. There is a North end and a South end. The views from the south end are magnificent! And the North end has all kinds of stone furniture that reminds me of The Flintstones furniture. I even call it that these days. I went on a day where nobody else was there and walking from the North summit to the South Summit through the trees was very peaceful and beautiful. I was up there working on my redlining patch and had to go from the South Summit over to Swett Mountain and on the way back I stopped in one of the stone chairs and just took in the View from the south peak of Piper Mountain. It was breathtaking and a very awe-inspiring hike."

"Moderate to strenuous trail. GPS tells you turn onto private residence keep driving straight down the road and you’ll see cars parked along side. Trailhead is along side the residences in the area. Gets steep right from the start. We took Piper Trial to the summit. Even saw a hawk that day. Totally worth it! There’s a cool rock chair and table at the top. Took us 3hrs and was about 3miles long."
