Item #10: What is this? And where is it?
These are the ruins of Jack London's Wolf House, located in beautiful Glen Ellen! The house was nearly complete when it burned down. When I was in high school we used to hike up to the pond to fish for smallmouth bass!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Wolf House Ruins for its historical significance and serene atmosphere, with many highlighting the accessibility and helpfulness of the park's volunteers and docents. The reasonable admission fee and dog-friendly nature are also frequently mentioned positives, though some wish for more extensive historical interpretation within the ruins themselves.
"We loved this! Very interesting site and the docents were very pleasant and helpful. I am handicapped but I was able to make the trek from the parking lot to the actual ruins of the home. Very peaceful, serene location. Admission was reasonable and the area is kept up very well. Port-o-potties in the parking lot. Also some nice areas where you could eat picnic lunch. Plenty of parking, really nice, paved trails that are kind of hilly, but accessible."

"My mother and I are visiting family in Sonoma and we decided to stop by! This is my first visit here, my mom’s second. Our tour guide, Ed was super knowledgeable and friendly! When we got to the Wolf House, Tom greeted us upon arrival and had some more information to tell us. The woman driving the golf cart (didn’t catch her name) was amazing and super sweet! They offer free golf cart rides to and from the Wolf House and the Museum was amazing as well! Entrance was only $10! They are volunteers to run the park and take donations as well! I wish we had more time to visit and hike the other trails! We will definitely be back soon to visit!"

"Lots of historic info about Jack London and wife, Charmian. A former home on the property was converted into the museum. Hiking trails connect different points of interest in the park, including an old cottage, vineyard, ruins of their dream home, Jack London's grave site, and more."
