"Cave Rock is a super easy walk and you get a marvelous view of South Lake Tahoe facing west. A must see for those new to the area because it's fairly easy to access. There is a dirt trail and a short climb up a few rocks. Highly recommend to wear hiking shoes and sun protection. This is suitable for most ages however there is minor climbing involved and a potential fall hazard."

"Spectacular view! Parking lot is pretty small, so I lucked out going during a weekday. The climb can be intimidating if you are height adverse. I managed to make it halfway, and it was good enough for a nice view. You can stay towards the bottom and still enjoy the scenery from this short hike."
