"⭐️ Glendale Sports Complex
Scenic Sports & Recreation Hub Above Glendale Clean Fields, Big Views & Easy Access
Glendale Sports Complex is one of the most unique recreation spots in Glendale, sitting right above the I-2 with a perfect balance of active sports areas and calm mountain surroundings. The main complex is spacious, clean and well-organized, with multiple soccer fields, baseball diamonds, open green areas and plenty of room to walk around. Whether you come for a game, a run or just to stretch your legs, it feels open, maintained and inviting.
Parking is usually simple during weekdays thanks to several large lots, and there are EV charging stations on site which is a great bonus. On weekends when different leagues are playing, the lots can get completely full, so I recommend arriving a bit earlier. Restrooms near the main office area are clean and well-kept, and there’s a big shaded seating area next to the baseball fields.
Even if you’re not here for sports, it’s still a beautiful place to visit. The surrounding hills add a peaceful backdrop, and there are benches scattered around the park where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air. I’ve been coming here for years and I always appreciate how easy and enjoyable this place is — a great mix of nature, sports and community all in one.
I highly recommend stopping by, whether you’re here for a game or just passing through. It’s one of Glendale’s hidden gems."

"Amazing local for sports. They have it all here. Easy parking, clean bathrooms, nice staff and great fields. Hope to bring i9 youth sports here soon."

"Here’s a beautiful, well maintained sports complex park open to the public! Not only are sporting events held here, the park is also a picturesque setting for fitness walks, jogging and hiking.
A large parking lot may be shared by a couple of different game participants and attendees at once, as well as with trail bike riders and hikers. A smaller lot continues between ballfields, ending with a turnaround.
The structure located by the turnaround contains the park office, built-in venders stands and public restrooms. An adjoining covered area of picnic tables provides shade for individuals and groups together.
Natural dirt trailheads surround the park and are often accompanied by outdoor fitness equipment and more isolated picnic tables.
The fields are on level ground, surrounded within a bowl of Hills and a background of Verdugo Mountains. As one who appreciates a public place that coexists in a natural setting, here’s a park that I think blends in well as a most pleasant visual experience!"
