"What a fun hike! This was very shaded early in the day which made it a very cool temperature wise for the area! The hike was relatively easy I think most people could do it. The only spots that might give you trouble are at the very end when if you want to get closer to the carvings you’ll have to scramble up some bigger rocks. If you climb cupboards at home to reach dishes on the top shelf you’ll be fine here :)
It was a beautiful hike, so many birds, bees, lizards and the vegetation was magnificent. We learned about the cacti while hiking and so many were hundreds of years old. Amazing views and amazing history!"

"Great hike. I think it's around 4 miles there and back. It's hot out here so bring water cause there is almost no shade by midday along the entire route. Up hill just about the entire way to the petroglyphs. Very rocky terrain. better for boots then sneakers for sure. Absolutely stunning views of the Superstition Moutains."
