"The movie was very personally experiential. They did a really good job. Felt like you were right on the boat riding the rapids or flying through the sky through the canyon. Definitely worth your time and ticket. After the show you can purchase for around $10 a pass to see that same movie streaming from any personal device or smart TV. The card allows eight viewings of this really really good movie."

We wish we had done this first instead of last—it would have enriched our entire trip.
If you are planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, I can’t recommend strongly enough that you do the IMAX experience first. It gives you context, perspective, and a deeper appreciation that will make everything you see and do at the Canyon itself even more meaningful. This was easily one of the highlights of our visit, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!
Tickets were inexpensive (and easy to buy online at a discount), staff was friendly from start to finish, and the lobby has a great gift shop plus a snack bar with lots of food options. The IMAX screen truly makes you feel like you’re soaring over the cliffs and down the Colorado River. Don’t miss it!"

"What a great way to dive into some of the history of this magical place. The reenactment of the indigenous tribes and euro-american explorers was awesome. The sound effects in the theatre rumbled in boomed as the explorers floated the rapids. Watching "John Powell" dive and ascend over waves was intense and jaw dropping. Who knew he was missing half of an arm!
The aerial/drone shots were breathtaking and gave us an even closer look at the natural wonder.
We were hoping that the film would go more in depth to the formation of the canyon. They covered it in about 1 min. If you want to know more details about the Paleozoic rocks and different layers, visit the Yavapai Geology Museum inside the park"
