"Beautiful bridge with a vast history. Made in 1813, it’s the oldest and longest stone-arch bridge in U.S. Many Presidents from James Monroe to William Henry Harrison have visited this piece of history that’s right off of Rt 40, the first federally
funded road in the U.S. There’s a beautiful Artisan Village with shops right next to the bridge. It’s under construction until at least 2028, but the renovations will keep this bridge up for another 200 years!"

"The bridge itself is closed but the park is still beautiful, with access to the lake both on the side of the park and on the side of the village. There is available restrooms, parking, picnic area, and the village across the river is very cute"

"The bridge is very cool! The area around it is well kept. There are picnic tables and everything was green and lush.
Spruce Forrest Artisan Village, right by the bridge, is fun to see from the outside and it's amazing that you can see artisans making their wares. It's a great place to stop for artisan made crafts, education, or just to stretch your legs."
