Reviews Summary

Green River State Park is praised for its spacious and well-maintained RV sites, convenient amenities like showers and restrooms, and its strategic location as a base for exploring nearby national parks. Some visitors note potential noise from the nearby freeway and railroad tracks, and weekend activity at the adjacent golf course can be lively.

"Well kept campground. Shower and flushing toilets. RV dump station. It’s a bit too close to the freeway - you can hear the semi-trucks using their engines brakes coming off the freeway. It’s also next to the railroad tracks so you can hear trains coming through. We were there on a Sunday afternoon when the locals were at the adjacent golf course- a bit rowdy. The other days we were there were relatively quiet. We stayed here because we couldn’t get in at Goblin Valley State Park. Worked out great."

"Very spacious and beautiful RV Park. Sites 48 thru 58 seems to be a newer area and with lots of space, trees and a gazebo with a table. We reserved sites 48 and 50 and we were very happy. The maintenance staff are friendly and they work very hard to keep this place beautiful. The location is a good home base to get too Moab, Arches, goblin State Park and the Green River. The park is surrounded by the river a fun nine hole golf course and Central to the small town. We stayed four nights and we will return when it's not too hot. Thanks for the hospitality."

James Jaramillo

"Stopped in for an overnighter in our RV. Beautiful state Park. Electric and water with a dump station. Lots of grass and trees, level sites. The sites are big with covered picnic tables. This is our third time here and we would stay again."
