What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Green Springs Park is praised as a beautiful, free nature escape with unique green sulfur springs and shaded trails. Visitors appreciate its dog-friendly policy and picnic facilities, making it a great spot for a quick nature fix. However, some are frustrated by others disregarding the 'no swimming' rule, which can detract from the peaceful atmosphere.
"If you want a quick dose of nature this is the place! There’s small trails, bathrooms, picnic area and is dog friendly! You cannot go in the water, but the locals do ☺️ it’s cool to see the local teenagers jump from the tree branch over the spring hole. Please leave no trace ✨"

"This is a nice secluded park with an extended bike path and springs to view. There are bathrooms here as well as picnic areas and a playground. I took one star off because it is not patrolled by any sheriff or park rangers. Why is that an issue? Well because idiots come here to detract from the beauty of this park and go swimming in the springs and disturb the nice quiet environment. The Green Spring are a sulfur spring and is not like other natural springs in Florida where you are allowed to swim. There are signs posted at the entrance, at the path and at each lookout of the spring that says no swimming. The park management has even allowed someone to install a swing on the large tree to use to jump into the spring. My suggestion is to come early before those idiots show up."

"It needs more of a park by the water however it is so beautiful, especially at sunsets. The trail is so safe if you walk it, but the views are amazing and I love nature.."
