"A good option for a leisurely walk/hike in Green Valley on this former golf course. Some great mountain views, well marked trails, and plenty of bird watching and sometimes a javelina spotting. Parking is ample and there is a coffee shop at the parking area the public can take advantage of with indoor seating and large picture windows."

"These trails were absolutely fantastic! They were exactly what we wanted in order to maintain our daily walks while still on vacation. We really enjoyed these walks!
All of the trails are paved and wide enough for three people to walk and talk. There are occasional benches, one picnic table that I noticed and one porta potty.
The maps at the beginning of each loop are clear and fantastic. There are three main trail loops. They are anywhere from 1.3 miles to 1.7ish. We did one loop per day and two loops one day. The trails are pretty obvious because they are so paved. It is hard to get lost.
You can definitely enjoy the mountain scenery while walking in that direction. The trails wind through a development, and at one point it feels like you are walking through someone's backyard, lol. But overall there is enough scenery and desert life for a visitor.
We saw lots of birds. Our favorites were the roadrunner and the red vermilion flycatcher. Also quite a few other very friendly walkers, including two who helped us by taking a picture of us!
Initially I hoped this would be a good trail for a wheelchair, but when we got there, the long gradual uphills and the moderately steep, occasional ups and downs made that idea unviable."

"Park at the Canoa Hills Clubhouse. Trail is the old golf cart concrete path that is behind the clubhouse. The park is a work in process, but the trail is well marked and maintained."
