Exploring CT in a week. Looking for recommendations.
My wife and I are traveling to Madison CT in a week to explore. We are planning on moving to the northeast in the next 5 years due to better education for our daughter, better political climate, and a desperate need to get out of the deep south (TN). We havent nailed down a town…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary

The occasional community bake sale adds a charming local touch, enhancing the overall positive experience.
"Gorgeous rest area that’s nice and clean both inside and out. The staff are friendly, and there are some nice things to check out inside. One of the local church’s was having a bake sale outside grabbed something to eat from them which was kind of cool that the rest stop supports the community in terms of being able to do things like that."

"Clean bathrooms, vending machines etc. a great place to get maps fishing books, hunting information and events throughout the state and throughout the year. Very clean and information desk can help with any information about the state or highway conditions. I would highly recommend stopping here and looking around. It's a nice break when you're driving and it has plenty of information and books for you to take for free magazines about the state of Vermont"

"The visitors center was great and it is open during renovations. What knocked a star off was I walked right by 2-3 people behind the counter who didn't even acknowledge my presence on my way to the bathroom. Then on my way back out to look at maps and attractions still nothing, but they surely said hello and welcome to every other person who also walked by. I guess I give off that Masshole vibe. Don't judge just greet!"
