Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Henry Whitfield State Museum for its historical significance and well-preserved 17th-century house, noting the friendly and informative staff. While some find the tour a bit brief for the cost, the overall experience is described as a charming step back in time and a valuable local gem.
"Very cool spot with some very interesting history. The staff there was super nice and knowledgeable about the house and area. Everything was very clean and well kept in the house. Pretty much everything in the house is well labeled by small labels or in papers that you can flip through. There’s also a really nice small gift shop and more history in the separate building."

"Beautifully maintained grounds and buildings. Wonderful to experience the actual home and gain a true gut sense of the colonist’s life, challenges, and daily delights. Docent knew her spiel.
Downstairs and upstairs open to view.
Little pricey for the length of the “tour”
Near other historic homes and town fairground. Lovely area."
