Pegasus and Dragon is a 100-foot (30 m) tall statue of Pegasus defeating a dragon in Gulfstream Park, Hallandale Beach, Florida. It is the third-tallest statue in the United States after the Birth of the New World in Puerto Rico and the Statue of Liberty in New York.

[Wiki page with more info.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegasus_and_Dragon) Absolutely bizarre that Florida is the home of such a large statue of something that has such little to do with the state compared to the other two statues in the US and their locations.

Visitors are consistently impressed by the sheer size and artistic detail of the Pegasus and Dragon Statue, often describing it as an underrated, massive landmark. Many appreciate the lack of crowds and the free admission, making it a surprisingly accessible and enjoyable experience. While some wish for more information or better promotion, the visual impact and unique spectacle, especially the evening light and water show, leave a lasting positive impression.

"Stumbled upon this gem while strolling around the block after a church mass because I was a bit bored. The statue caught my eyes when I'm visiting flanigan's so I decided to go inside to see. I didn't expect it to be this big from afar and apparently after some research ITS THE SECOND BIGGEST STATUE IN THE US!!! I don't know why the place is pretty empty and there're only a few people there, the gate is open even though it states closed on google map so maybe that's why. There are no fee needed to enter. For some reason it feels underrated because I get the chance to visit a significant landmark without many if any people crowded up in there."

"I discovered this amazing spot by accident. I was driving on my way back home from Aventura Mall and saw the massive Pegasus statue along the road. I bookmarked it and it took me almost a year to finally visiting it.

It took me by surprise that such a cool and unique place in Miami, was empty, I think I only saw 3 people while going around and there is no admission fee.

I’m glad I finally made it. I need to come back in a day with more natural light and around sunset time, I’m sure this place will deliver amazing golden hours pictures."

Frank Garcia

"The sculpture is striking in size! The details are amazing! The place is surrounded by a fence and therefore it turned out cozy. There are benches to rest. There is a cafe and a toilet on the territory."
