What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center to be a fun and engaging place for children, with many praising the interactive exhibits and friendly staff. However, some reviewers feel the admission price is a bit high for the center's size, and a lack of certain facilities like a large changing table was noted. Despite mixed opinions on value, it's often recommended as a great spot for a family outing, especially for younger kids.
"Kids had fun here, it was a bit small for the price though. We probably won't be returning. We've been to bigger museums that were half the price. The staff were okay, nothing that screams out good or bad service. I wouldn't recommend unfortunately as the pricing is too high."

"We visited LCDC while on a recent vacation trip with friends. We had children ranging from 2 to 16 and they all had an amazing time. We were so impressed with the amount of exhibits and that all were in great working order. There was an employee constantly walking through straightening the areas and making sure everything was tidy. My 8 year old especially loved the craft room where she was able to create a quick art project. The restrooms were super clean and attended to. The staff could not have been friendlier. We are so thankful we have this place a try for our rainy day activity. It did not disappoint."

"I love taking my kids here. It’s quaint and I can keep my eye on them while also giving them some freedom to play on their own. The only downside is that they do not have a handicap bathroom with a changing table big enough for anyone over an infant."
