"A FANTASTIC stay! The mansion is absolutely amazing and the renovations are not even complete yet! We plan to visit again as the renovations progress. Warren and Juan were amazing hosts (They are also the tour guides/historians). They surprised us with a wine & cheese reception where got to chat with them about the mansion, town and their story. We've experienced many b&bs and this one is a unique experience. We stayed in a period room (The Butler's Quarters) with period furnishings (no TV, so you can avoid some modern distraction). Views from the room and all of the grounds were beautiful! The room was cozy and we slept well. Breakfast was delightful and cooked/served by Juan and Warren themselves. This is a rare B&B opportunity. If you get a chance, do it! Hannibal is obviously famous for Mark Twain/Tom Sawyer connections and surrounding caves but Rockcliffe Mansion needs to be among the main draws as well."

"What an absolute treat. Warren and Juan were fantastic. They are involved in a labor of love restoring the Rockcliffe mansion. The money they get from the guests who stay is poured right back into the project. I recommend showing up at 4 the first night for the tour of the mansion to get to know the place before you stay. It is well worth it. It has one of the best views of Hannibal. Jaun did a fantastic job showing us around and relating the stories of the mansion. The script writing was aided by one of the Cruikshank children, and it was marvelously done. Warren and Juan were very knowledgeable about the house and the local area and very personal. We had a blast talking with them and the other guests during our stay. Breakfast was very good. This is our go-to place in Hannibal to stay now. If you want more than a room but a historical experience, this is your place to stay. Check out their website or their YouTube channel. You will not regret it."
