Replying to @Joe Himali Would you have driven through here? This road used to be one of the only ways to get across Rock Creek Park, but now, only pieces of it remain. "Happened upon this little gem purely by accident as we were out for a drive across S. Idaho. We lucked out on a Wednesday in March that they were doing some tours for local kids so the store and visitors center were open. They have put alot of effort into restoring many of the buildings, sites around the property have informative placards and the visitors center has some super interesting displays. The staff were very friendly and were happy to share their knowledge of the history of the place. Worth it!"

"This place has a pretty cool history. It worth the drive to see it
We were there the end of January and the house wasn’t open. I'm not sure if it’s ever open to the public. But there’s an old cabin/barn and cellar you can walk through.
UPDATE: The house and buildings are open in the summer and special occasions in the winter."

LISA HANEY

"All of the buildings were open to explore and a knowledgeable docent was there to share great information. Stricker Station played a big part in late 19th century Idaho history and it was awesome to get to see a window into that part of history!"
