Reviews Summary
Reviews for Harrisburg Cemetery are mixed, with praise for helpful staff and ongoing restoration efforts, particularly in the Lincoln Cemetery section. However, significant concerns are raised about the maintenance of certain areas, with overgrown graves and a lack of responsiveness from management being recurring issues for some visitors.
"If I could give this cemetery zero stars I would, I came to visit my grandparents grave and it was completely grown over and there were multiple graves that looked like this. There is no excuse for this! I’m appalled by how these graves are cared for (or a lack of) there is no respect for people’s loved ones at all! If you are looking to bury a loved one here I would think twice. Whoever manages and maintains these graves should be ashamed of themselves. Have the day you deserve."

"Many generations of my mother's family are buried in this cemetery. Recently I made a visit to find them, having not been there since I was very small. PJ was easy to reach via phone and email and greeted us on our arrival with awesome color-coded maps of the various sections we needed to visit. We found everything without any issues. She further supplied additional information on relatives from the public records she has access too. All with a friendly, enthusiastic and easy-going attitude. Thank you PJ for all your help!"

"I visited the cemetery office this morning, trying to find the location of a grave. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and provided explicit information that led me directly to the grave I was searching for. Their recent quick cleanup of fallen trees after a recent storm was also very impressive."
