"My sister and I stayed here one night while visiting the area. This place is one of the more affordable places in the area but more importantly, we loved it! The furniture and historic nature of the hotel was such a treat and the staff were super friendly. We explored each floor to see the cool artwork and variety. Before checkout, take a peek in open rooms that are being cleaned to see the uniqueness of each room 😍.We love that they give you a coupon for nearby businesses to treat yourself as well. Highly recommend!!!"

"What an amazing place if you want a place with history and character. The floors sag crazily down from the outer wall and there’s a funny extra sink in the living area (complete with soaps, cups, and hand towel, in addition to the sink/set in the bathroom: the living area does have a pullout sofa bed, so you can see how guests may make use of that while others are in the bathroom) and I absolutely loved it all.
I’ll say that the wi-fi was really not great, it went in and out. I see that management sees and responds to these reviews, so I do hope that you’re able to identify what the issues may be and resolve them—still, I did have a very enjoyable stay!"

"Not 3 star. The people are very nice and helpful. "Quaint" describes the lobby but it goes downhill, literally, from there. If the exterior wall was your start, there floors angled at least 4-5 inches and worse in the bathroom. With the slightest touch, a water bottle slide off the desk in the room. The boiler..for bldg heat, changed away for about 30 minutes with lingering pinging as stuff passed through the pipes. Oh, and then there are the trains! Bed was unstable and uncomfortable. But they have free coffee! 1 Kuerig for the whole place. Now for the positives: checkout was quick! The town was little but nice, unfortunately much of it was closed for Columbus Day."
