"Pretty good for free. The lock is well preserved and even has water in it, which is kinda rare. The building was tiny and underwhelming but had some nice artifacts."

"Quiet and charming. Staff genuinely cares and will take time to educate you on the history of the canal with demonstrations. I'd highly recommend coming for a tour if you care about Maryland history, but keep in mind the tour may take at least 30-40min. Theres also a small manicured field in the front and full access of the canal in the back with a few tables and a bench surrounded by flowers. Just make sure to take the bridge to the left if you want to cross the canal. It's less shaky."

"It was unfortunate the Museum was closed when I visited the area. Beautiful place to hang out with a nice view"
