"The Pond Farm Retrospective now in the Gallery until April 10th is not to be missed. The pottery here is representative of the craft that Marguerite Wildenhain taught at Pond Farm. The pieces are dynamic, sculptural, and top of the line in their craft. Not many potters have the depth of purpose that Marguerite created in these potters. These bold men and women have sacrificed for their craft in ways that people today can hardly imagine. What these dedicated craftsman are left with is a sense of wholeness, nature, and purpose to bring alive a lump of clay into a vital, imagined piece of their own creativity; their authentic purpose for being. The pottery in this show is an imagined beauty that is rarely seen in one place."
