"Embrace the redwoods, lakes, the river, and shaded paths all within one park.
Hands down my favorite regional park in Sonoma County.
Come here to escape the chaos of the city. Where the water and trees welcome you with serenity.
Come walk the dog, ride your horse, bring your kayak, bring your fishing pole, bring a blanket, have a BBQ in the group picnic area and more. A safe place for children but please always watch them around any body of water.
Just on the outskirts of Santa Rosa, Riverfront welcomes you with all of its glory.
The trails around the lake a extra wide and flat. Easy for a wheelchair to go round.
This is one of my regular spots to escape and intake the beauty of nature.
I highly recommend just buying a parking pass to support the parks. If you visit a regional park once a month, it pays for itself."

"Riverfront Regional Park is one of my favorite local getaways. It’s a great place for a hike, whether you’re out for a casual stroll or an easy jog. You’ll run into plenty of like-minded walkers and joggers enjoying the trails and the fresh air. The views out here are amazing, with lots of spots that are perfect for snapping a photo. There are benches along the way too, so you can rest your legs and soak it all in for a while.
The fishing is pretty great too. I come out here often since it’s close by for me. There are a couple of nice ponds and good access to the Russian River. It’s peaceful, and you’ve got a fair shot at catching bass, bluegill, or trout if you’re lucky. One thing I really like is the vineyard that runs alongside part of the park. It’s beautiful to look at, though you’ll want to admire it from a distance since it’s private property."

"This is a nice county park. The name suggests that you'll be right next to the river. However, you'll have to walk a bit to get to the trail that drops down to the river. If you want easy and direct access to the Russian River, I'd recommend Memorial Beach Park in Healdsburg or Steelhead Beach Park in Forestville."
