Reviews Summary
Silver Oak Alexander Valley is widely praised for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, stunning modern architecture, and breathtaking vineyard views. Many visitors find the staff helpful and the ambiance outstanding. However, a few guests have reported less welcoming experiences with specific staff members, and some feel the pour sizes could be more generous for the price.
"Silver Oak Alexander Valley is incredible 😲 👍 Beautiful location and views. Fantastic wine 🍷 👌 😋 Very helpful and courteous staff. We were fortunate to attend the Alexander Valley Release Day event. If you enjoy great Cabernet Sauvignon, you need to give them a try 😉"

"Personally would not recommend visiting if you’re traveling thousands of miles to experience Sonoma County. As soon as we stepped in the door, Lori had already sized us up and came off judgmental once she heard where we were from. This was our very first time visiting Napa/Sonoma County and Lori was quick to correct me over small details about the specific wine region. We did not feel welcome here because of Lori, this was supposed to be a learning experience for us not a criticism contest.
All of the other Wineries we visited on our trip would pour the wine right in front of us, but here at Silver Oak each wine was already poured when we arrived. Patricia was kind to us and she hosted our Comparative Wine Tasting between the Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. These Cabs were okay, but we had zero interest in taking any with us after our experience here.
Undeniably this a gorgeous Winery, the architecture is stunning and the views from the tasting room are awesome. The best reason to visit Silver Oak in Alexander Valley is for the photos, once you’ve taken them just turnaround and spend your money elsewhere.
Visited Silver Oak (Alexander Valley) at the end of 2024."

"This was my favorite winery in the Alexander Valley area when we visited in May 2024! Alan was our server and he was phenomenal- truly made the experience wonderful. I do wish they gave larger samples, considering the price. The wine was very good- some of the best I've ever had!"
