"Great pace for quiet, primitive camping, if you know where to stay 😉 Just gonna say...51, 52, 53. Anyway, facilities are clean, camp hosts are friendly, camp sites are well maintained. Only drawback, and this isn't anything the Hardin Ridge SRA can control, is the music from people partying on their boats on Lake Monroe. In good weather, it eventually calms down once it gets dark. But out on the end of Southern Point, it's pretty noticeable. Regardless, the sounds of birds, tree frogs, cicadas, and coyotes make up for it."

"Such an awesome park! I went with my husband and 5 month old daughter to hike a bit for a friend's birthday and we were not disappointed. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. It was a hot August day but the shade was wonderful. Overall an excellent place to hike and camp out! Absolutely beautiful."
