What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lifeguard Arena is praised for its clean facilities and friendly staff, particularly for its Learn to Skate programs and family-friendly open skate sessions. However, some visitors find the music during open skate to be dated and have encountered issues with ice rental communication and aggressive security personnel.
"Its a very clean and nice facility. Everyone that works at the desk is friendly and helpful. The Learn to Skate programs are great! That being said, the Open-skate music...when its on, is very dated. And don't waste your time on trying to rent the ice. I dont know why that is even listed as an option on the website. The person handling it doesn't communicate well and is very difficult. I tried a 3 month window to rent for 1 hour and was told the schedule doesn't work like that. Our 6 year old is very disappointed. She wanted to skate to her music for her birthday. With the amount of money we have spent there, its very disheartening."

"Security guard Lance made our visit unpleasant. He is a rude and over aggressive little man who needs to be taught how to talk to people with respect. He lashed out at me while helping my son unload his extremely heavy goalie bag. He yelled at another man and created a dramatic scene while we were here yesterday morning as well. I think he has some internal issues and should be trained how to properly talk to guest."

"Bathrooms in the locker rooms are always in need of improvement. The benches not being like 6 to 10 inches above the ice feels weird and harder for guys to hope them onto the ice. Ice is fine. Facility is clean and nice looking."
