hello everybody, thinking of taking a little day trip to Hermann on the 26th of November, any sight seeing? We don’t drink ( which IK is why people go there for) and our kids are teenagers so anything historical to see would be nice. thanks in advances. lunch spots…

Tips for Hermann?
We’ve never been and are planning to go for one night in late March. I’m starting from scratch here- is it better to drive or take the train from Kirkwood? Any recommendations for B&Bs, or places to avoid? Bomb-ass breakfast places? Genuinely, any tips would be appreciated!
Hermann, Mo. questions.
My girlfriend and I are heading there this weekend for a quick 48 hours away from our normal lives. We'll be driving there from STL. Is there anything we should definitely check out or do while we are there? Any good restaurants that are around there? Price doesn't really matter…

Hermann Missouri activities for the non drinker?!? Help!
Hey there! I’m from Kc and traveling on the Amtrak to Hermann with my parents next weekend. I have only been a couple times and it was for the wineries and bars. My parents do not drink and it is going to be a little chilly 🥶 outside. I’m looking for things to do that aren’t…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hermann Wurst Haus is celebrated for its authentic housemade sausages and deli sandwiches, with many praising the quality of the food. However, some visitors have experienced inconsistent service and found the prices to be high relative to portion sizes. Payment methods can also be a point of consideration, with a preference for cash.
"We had breakfast here Saturday morning and lunch on Sunday. The food was excellent. The bacon, some of the best I’ve ever had. The brats, red cabbage and potato salad was everything I expected! Definitely stop and get something to eat here."

"We recently visited Hermann Wurst Haus after hearing several recommendations, but unfortunately our experience did not live up to expectations. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming from the moment we walked in, largely due to the staff member who was assisting us. Her demeanor made us feel more like an inconvenience than guests.
The food was also disappointing. The sandwiches were served on pretzel buns that were extremely dry and tough, and the portions came with very little barbecue sauce. For the high price point, we expected much better quality.
When I went to purchase sausage snacks for the road, I discovered they don’t accept tap-to-pay, which was fine. I went to retrieve my debit card, but then their point-of-sale machine malfunctioned. At that point, I resorted to paying with cash. What struck me as odd, however, was that immediately after realizing they didn’t take tap-to-pay, the staff member pulled the snacks out of my hand and attempted to put them back on the shelf, even though I had every intention of completing the purchase.
We drove more than 50 miles to visit Hermann and looked forward to this stop, but it turned out to be the low point of our trip. While we will certainly return to Hermann in the future, we will not return to Hermann Wursthaus, particularly if the same employee is working. There are many other establishments in town that offer both friendlier service and a more worthwhile dining experience."

"Well. I know the golden rule. If you don't have anything nice to say... we'll im sorry 43.00 for a skimpy little bit of brisket sandwich, baked beans, a tough as heck brat and some German potato salad is ridiculous. The brats are sitting in bins under heat lamps. Need i say more. We also had two drinks. Water and a soda. I knew the price is going in.But I expected much more. It's said that it was a piled high brisket sandwich. Not even close. Hardly any sauce. The only thing that was good was the German potato salad. They should be ashamed of what they charge for what they sell.
X THIS OFF THE BUCKET LIST"
