What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the AACA Museum as a hidden gem in Hershey, offering an extensive and well-presented collection of vintage vehicles. The immersive displays, knowledgeable staff, and unique exhibits like the Tucker '48 and Forrest Gump bus are frequently highlighted as major draws. While some may find it a change of pace from theme parks, its reasonable pricing and engaging content make it a highly recommended stop for automotive history buffs and families alike.
"Very nice museum. We'd been once before a few years ago. This time was after participating in a very special event, their Model T Driving Experience, which was great! After a nice lecture the 9 drivers in our group were first a passenger with an instructor. Then they each got to drive 4 different Model T cars with the instructor. I was a rider (an experienced instructor took Riders around the course for liability reasons). Feeling the breeze and the size of the seat, and seeing the small pedals and hand throttle was like living history. It was amazing and a thrill. The volunteers running the event were awesome - knowledgeable, friendly, kind and patient, doing everything they could to make it a great day.
Only negative was that because we were booked in advance for the special event when we went into the museum we had landed on a day during the changeover of temporary exhibits. I would recommend checking the website for those dates before planning a visit. There are still quite a few permanent exhibits to see and some vehicles had been moved in already but they were missing the written description that are really wonderful on their exhibits."

"Car Museum
Great Harvest Host stop for us RV’ers! The museum was thoughtfully laid out with great backdrops that really showcased the cars. There was an impressive variety—classic cars, buses, motorcycles, and even a large, interactive model train display that was a hit. Easy parking and a fun stop for anyone who enjoys a mix of history, art, and mechanics. Highly recommend!"

"This is one of the best museums in the area. I like to visit a couple of times a year even though it's a 2.5 hour ride to get there. They have great exhibits which change every couple of months. Currently they are featuring station wagons along with their other great vehicles, cars, trucks, motorcycles and buses. There are many interactive displays and a room with huge interactive train sets. There is a deducted Tucker display with tons of information on the cars, several on display and a recreation of a Tucker dealership. The docents are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are interested in automotive history this museum is a must see."
