Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Hersheypark Arena's deep historical significance, particularly its connection to Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game and its legacy as the home of the Hershey Bears. The well-maintained ice and unique, albeit sometimes foggy, atmosphere are frequently praised. However, some find the seating cramped and the facilities dated, though this is often seen as part of its historic charm.
"If your a history buff, Hershey Arena is As good as it gets when it comes to history. Built in the late 1930's this Arena was the home to the Hershey Bears AHL team and the site of Wilt Chamberlains 1962 record of 100 points scored in a NBA game which still stands today. The building was never a barn but, an arena that has stood the test of time and still operates today."

"This arena is really Cool to be in. It’s old and outdated but I can’t complain it’s so historic and makes you feel like you’re going back in time. They take awesome care of the facilities it’s all very clean and the ice quality it’s always flat and smooth. It gets very hot in there and gets very foggy but it’s a cool arena and it does its job. The seats are very close together and steep, but that doesn’t quite matter because that’s not what’s it’s used for anymore. It’s a sick place to have as a home rink I’d definitely recommend checking it out!"

"I have the honor of figure skating in this historic arena weekly. Each time I enter the building, I feel as though I'm being transported in time. Opening in 1936, the arena has housed many hockey and figure skating members throughout its' years. Despite being almost 100 years old, the facilities are well-maintained. It sits directly beside the Chocolatier Restaurant and parking can be complicated at best due to the location. It is truly a historic gem of Hershey!"
