What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Highline Trail is consistently lauded as one of Glacier National Park's most spectacular hikes, offering breathtaking 360-degree views and unique alpine scenery. Visitors rave about the potential for wildlife sightings and the option to customize the hike length. However, the trail's narrow, exposed sections and the extreme difficulty in securing parking at Logan Pass are common drawbacks.
"If you only do easy hikes, this is probably the best experience for Glacier National Park - just walk a mile or two in and back out."
Will Pirnasch
"Must hike trail at Glacier. Get to Logan pass before 6am to ensure parking. We cooked breakfast at the parking lot to save time."

"This was one of the best hikes at Glacier National Park. We hiked 1.5 miles in and 1.5 miles out for a total 3 mile hike. The trail is much longer than that, but even hiking a small portion of it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. The views are beautiful the entire way. The trail is narrow and high. I loved it but if you do not like heights, be aware that this trail is high and on the side of a mountain. You need to park at Logan’s Pass which is difficult. We arrived at Logan’s Pass at 6:30 AM and there were only a couple of spots left. So, make sure you plan for that."
