Reviews Summary

However, preparedness is key, with many emphasizing the need for good footwear and reliable lighting to navigate the dark and sometimes challenging terrain.
"You don’t have to go far into the caves to have a good time at these. The stairs at the beginning are very steep but as long as you’re cautious they are safe. The cave on the left doesn’t go as far as the cave on the right. We didn’t go very far as we had small kids with us but my kids and I loved exploring around! They were very unique with the lava rock inside surrounded by the green forest. So beautiful! Highly recommend bringing flashlights but the lights on our phones worked okay"

"Such a fun find. So much better than the Lava tubes at the N.P. It has to sides. Left side appears to stop pretty early but it keeps going! Just bend down and go over the fallen rocks. It goes quite a long ways! Same with the right side. Each time it looks questionable and you wonder if it opens back up, it does. At some point way back in, someone spray painted "stop" on the rock. Not 100% sure why because it continues after that, not sure how far because we were getting weird vibes and it was pretty humid inside and decided to turn. But they were awesome. You definitely need good shoes and strong lights. We purchased a headlamp and a strong focused little flashlight. The more light, the easier your walking and more enjoyable it will be. They are not improved so there are plenty of minor hazards like hitting your head, back or tripping. So much fun!"

"This was such a cool thing to go through! The caves were amazingly lava flown floors. The scenery was green, tropical, and gorgeous. I recommend flashlights if you want to go deep. Nature is truly magical!"
