Worden’s Ledges & Whipp’s Ledges, Hinckley, Ohio. Lots of miles, with beautiful carvings from the 1800’s and a beautiful landscape. A sphinx, a sailboat, some mountains, a cross, bible and faces everywhere you look. Even a bear face in an old tree out of mottled wood. Caves here and there and some big beautiful trees. #exploremore #hikingtrails #northeastohio #wordensledges #whippsledges

Anywhere like the Kendall Ledges but not as populated? Or just good outdoorsy spots around?

Hi friends! I love CVNP a ton, but when wanting to unwind CVNP can get a bit crowded for my liking. Just a lot of people on small paths without many off path areas to hang out. I am looking for a good area to sit down and unwind in nature, even better if its in a setting similar…

Visitors rave about Whipp's Ledges for its unique historical carvings, adventurous terrain, and beautiful natural scenery, especially during fall. Families and climbers find it particularly engaging, though some note the trails can be poorly marked and challenging for less experienced hikers.

"Whipps is a long time family tradition going back 4+ generations. We love climbing in, through, and around the large rocks as well as watching the sun set on the top of the ledges. So much history and cool finds along the way if you look close at the rocks. Sight seeing is it's finest especially when the leaves are changing colors."

Carrie Flood

"Really cool hike. Lots of caves, we had a great time exploring all the offshoot trails. There is a marked route but all the trails pretty much run next to each other. Hiked with a 5 & 7 year old and they had a blast! We parked at the top o ledges picnic area and it was a beautiful day and not overly crowded. Bathroom, pavilion and grills available."

Amy Feketik

"Lovely little spot to climb or hike. Most routes are top rope or boulder, but there are a few trad gems to be found."
