"Geocaching at Auburn Valley State Park
Excellent introduction to geocaching by Teresa Pierce, Program Manager at Auburn Valley State Park. We practiced with 3 geocache locations surrounding the Auburn Heights house, Marshall Steam Museum and the green "iron giant" historic bridge over the Red Clay Creek. With this knowledge and using the Geocaching app, we found 2 additional geocaches including one premium geocache near the Dew Point Brewing Company along Creek road and Lower Snuff Mill road.
Everyone had a great time even with the high humidity! Thanks Teresa for introducing this exciting activity to add whenever we are out on walks or hiking."
Mike Monroe
"A truly beautiful place! I asked if I could take my wedding pictures here last year, and they allowed it! Forever a special memory for me. I’ll definitely be returning."
Danielle Longacre
"I enjoyed the guided tour of the Auburn Heights Mansion (Marshall family home). The tour guide, Teresa, provided a very thorough and enthusiastic tour. After the tour, I visited the Marshall Steam museum. The docent there also provided a great tour of all of the cars and other artifacts on display."
